Win £1,000 in our Short Film Competition

The Bread Factory & GAIL’s, the UK’s leading artisan bakery, is on the lookout for talented film production students to write, direct and produce a mini-series of up to 5 x 30 second films for our website, that captures our world. 
 
We live and love the world of craft baking. We hope to share our passion for baking with you and we hope that you will find the world of artisan baking an unusual and interesting subject matter.
 
The winning production will receive a £1,000 prize and his/her film will be incorporated in The Bread Factory & GAIL’s online marketing campaign.

How does it work:

Step 1

 

Click on the application form at the bottom of this page and save it to your desktop. Complete and return by email to colum_lipsith@breadltd.co.uk  by 25th May 2010.

 

Step 2

 

You will be notified by 10th June 2010 whether your application has been successful - unfortunately, due to Health & Safety regulations, we can only admit a limited number of candidates to our bakery. During the selection process we may ask you to visit us for an interview.

Step 4

All selected applicants will be invited to our bakery for a tour and will have access to the bakery to shoot their films.

Step 5

 

Candidates will have to submit their film to us by the 10th July 2010.

 

Step 6

 

We will announce the winner on 31st July 2010.
