Unit 21: Our Specialist Pastry and Cake Department

Almost three years after opening our built-to-spec production unit at Hendon, North West London, we opened our new home for our Morning Goods, Pastry and Cake teams. This new 18,000 sq.ft. purpose-built bakery was specially designed to accommodate our special hand made production techniques. The ground floor is dedicated to our morning goods and pastry ranges, where we hand make our croissants, pain au chocolate, fruit danish and all other morning good products. In addition, the morning goods team produces our brioche products and our well known range of American muffins. The first floor of the new unit is dedicated to our new team of pastry chefs who bake the most amazing range of cakes, scones, cookies, tarts and other sweet products.

Over £1,000,000 was invested in this new unit to accommodate the best ovens, the best mixers and all the other kit that bakers and chefs love to have. In addition the design and build of the new unit took into account all the latest food safety requirements and the building is operating under BRC accreditation.
