July 2010 sees the first edition of our revamped newsletter, featuring our first 'Bread of the Month' - the Boule de Meule (French Dark Sourdough) - this sourdough bread reflects the high level of expertise we have at The Bread Factory in our craft bakery. The levain, or sourdough starter, for this loaf made from wholemeal and plain flour, is over 18 years old, an amazing achievement in the artisan bread industry.
